Application Procedure

Applications are welcome from all organisations with at least 15 employees which are verifiably, lastingly and successfully committed to equal opportunity in their human resources policy.

Organisations from the private sector, Sciences, politics and administration can apply for the award. The application is voluntary and based on a self-assessment of the organisation.

Basis of the application is the checklist as an instrument for self-assessment, and additionally offers motivation and support for the implementation of activities to improve equal opportunities of women and men. The checklist is subdivided into different fields of activities, mentioning a variety of possible approaches and measures for equal opportunity.

Fields of activities:
1.    Evaluation of the labour situation of the employees
2.    Personnel and junior staff recruitment, staffing
3.    Advanced training / staff development
4.    Work-life-balance
5.    Promotion of fair behaviour
6.    Institutionalisation of the activities for equal opportunity
7.    Socio-political commitment to equal opportunity
8.    Research, teaching and academic studies
