Application Procedure
Applications are welcome from all organisations with at least 15 employees which are verifiably, lastingly and successfully committed to equal opportunity in their human resource policy.
Organisations from the private sector, science, politics and administration can apply for the award. The application is voluntary and based on a self-assessment of the organisation.
The application is based on a checklist as an instrument for self-assessment, and additionally offers motivation and support for the implementation of activities to improve equal opportunities for women and men. The checklist is divided into different fields of activities and includes a variety of possible approaches and measures for equal opportunity.

1. Evaluation of the labour situation of employees
2. Personnel and junior staff recruitment, staffing
3. Advanced training / staff development
4. Work-life-balance
5. Promotion of fair behaviour
6. Institutionalisation of activities for equal opportunity
7. Socio-political commitment to equal opportunity
