The award is granted nationwide to organisations in the private sector, science and administration with more than 15 employees. These are organisations that are aware of the influence of soft facts on their economic success.

Applications are welcome from organisations in the private sector, science, politics and administration with at least 15 employees. The application is a trust-based self-assessment  using a check list.

The award consists of a certificate and the TOTAL E-QUALITY logo which the recipients can use for marketing and public relations.

Up to now, 263 awards have been given in 15 awarding ceremonies.

The Federal Government and the Central Organisations of the German Economy have been recommending TOTAL E-QUALITY since 2001.
